The Design Makers Studio team consists of friends and co-owners, Angie Brown and Lydia Flood.
With a desire for quality work and clear communication, we approach each project as a team to see it through. We believe the glory is in the details—the small bits always matter and truly make the project.
Meet Angie
Angie has 19 years of professional design experience in both commercial design, home design, and church design. This ranges from house design, full environmental design, space planning, art installations, stage design, signage and wayfinding, live production and directing for church services, and large scale conferences and events. She was the Executive Creative Director, managing a large design team that covered the full spectrum of design at New Life Church of Arkansas, a multisite church with 18 locations across the state. In addition, she has experience in executive management and leadership, building systems and training creatives. She thrives in helping people set up systems that allow them and the organization to flourish.
Angie & her husband, Luke, love hanging out with friends, cook outs, traveling, and building a healthy and beautiful life with their two daughters, Stella and Caroline.
Meet Lydia
Lydia brings 13 years of experience as a designer and project manager in different facets of creative design to the table. Before DMS, she was the Assistant Creative Director for New Life Church of Arkansas where she specialized in communications, team management, copywriting, and producing/directing conferences and events. She also worked with Little Rock design firm, Eric Rob & Isaac’s sister company, Gumption, as a designer and project manager. Lydia is skilled in taking a client’s vision and making it happen. From home design and sourcing to all things tile, Lydia loves to see a vision come to life.
